Engine

Great news!! I got it running!! (albeit roughly) After removing the fuel tank (because of rust), flushing the fuel system, replacing the mechanical fuel pump, replacing the condensor, points and overhauling the twin Skinners Union (SU) HS6 carbs, I was able to start the car and actually drive it.

So, this at least tells me that it is capable of running. I checked for water flow and strange knocks and noises and didn't hear many (and least none that I can recognize). What I really need to do is get SOMEONE ELSE to listen to it and offer me their opinion.

I am figuring on at least replacing the exhaust valve seats to run it on unleaded fuel. But as an overall level of health in concerned, the fact that the car runs and drives is an excellent sign.
