My Car Now (2003 - present)
In early 2003 mom, faced with yet another move, finally relented to my ceaseless pleas and gave me the car. I immediately began to find resources in order to study up on how to restore it. Once I was ready to begin, I set my plan in motion.

I had my father-in-law, a SCCA Formula Vee racer (who fortunately owns an auto shop), Bill Griffith of Bigger Hammer Racing, accompany me down to my mom's house in Round Rock, Texas on May 11, 2003. We loaded and strapped the car to a flat-bed trailer for the long drive from Round Rock to my home in Kennedale, Texas. (near Dallas/Fort Worth). The car was not running, but appeared to have the vast majority of parts accounted for. I am certain that as I go through the restoration process I will discover all sorts of pieces missing. After all, the car was transported all torn-apart over large distances more than five times!!
