The "Before My Time" Years (1965 - 1987)

Besides mom, I know of only two other previous owners of this Triumph. The couple she purchased it from was David & Lynda Bailey, who at the date of purchase in 1987, where living in Dallas, Texas.
According to the Texas title, they purchased the car in May of 1982 from a man named Gary Gardner. Its here where the paper trail ends, and therefore the extent of my knowledge of the history
of this specific car.
I can surmize that Mr. Gardner might have owned the car for the 17 years from 1965 to 1982, but I doubt it. From what I have read and heard, these cars were passed around quite often.
It seems like everyone has had an old friend or a cousin who has owned a Triumph!!
